Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing

Psychiatric mental health nursing is a sub division of nursing. These individuals mainly work with individuals, families, groups and communities providing them help to better their mental health conditions. They mainly work by preparing a nursing diagnosis and accordingly plan for care and lastly evaluates for effectiveness. They treat patients with psychiatric disorders or the potential to develop so using their therapeutic skills and may also apply psychotherapy.
