Child Development and Stages
Children pass through certain developmental periods in their journey from being an infant to an young adult. During these stages huge changes physically and neurologically occur within their brains which we refer to as the development of the brain. These developments take place and are genetically determined. However, certain environmental circumstances and interaction with individuals in that environment have deep influence on how each child benefits from each developmental event. This study helps parents to understand these stages of their child and expects them to support and encourage the child to progress through each of these stages easily based each child’s unique characteristics and interests.
