Biography
Dr Wong graduated from NUS in 1987, and completed his specialist training in psychiatry at NUH, IMH and TTSH. He was awarded Master of Medicine (Psychiatry) in 1992, and exited form Advanced Specialty (Psychiatry) training program in 1995. He was appointed a Fellow in Trauma Psychiatry at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, Bethesda, Maryland, USA in 1996, participated in trauma management training with the American Red Cross Disaster Management Division and the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation. Dr Wong was instrumental in the training development of Psychological Trauma Management for doctors and mental healthcare workers in SAF. He is a graduant of the US Military Strategic Leadership Program 2004 and the Singapore Armed Forces Command and Staff College Senior Commander Course 2005.
